. . .He Who Loves God Loves His Brother Also. (1 John 4:21), M.C. The Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA) has been a great benefit to my Christian life. The environment is focused one hundred percent on the Lord and on gaining the Lord. During my time there I began to develop a personal relationship with the Lord. Every morning there is a time, to get into the Word and to contact the Lord. After two years of having this time every morning, I no longer just have this time out of routine; but I need this time. If I don't spend some time contacting the Lord in the morning, I am not at rest until I get away from the crowd and the busy day and pray to the Lord. This time in the Training has increased my love for the Lord. Sometimes I do get caught up with doing things for the Lord, but then I stop and remember why I am doing these things and tell the Lord that I still love Him. The FTTA has also expanded my view of the Body of Christ. The Body of Christ is just the living together of all the believers in Christ (1 Corinthians 12:24) for God's corporate expression (Ephesians 1:23). In the Training, there are believers from all over the world with many different cultures, yet we all are here for the same reason--we love the Lord. The Body of Christ includes every genuine believer in Christ from all over the earth. Regardless of our cultural differences, we can fellowship together and enjoy the Lord together. After two years of being in the Training, 1 John 5:1-2 is becoming real to me in my daily experiences of the Lord: Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been begotten of God, and everyone who loves Him who has begotten loves him also who has been begotten of Him. In this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God . . . I praise and thank the Lord for giving me such an opportunity to be in the FTTA to experience loving Him and loving the brothers and sisters in Christ.
